Week 1 Recap

Can you believe it’s been seven full days of terror already? Here’s a look at what you might have missed in the first week:

Hatchet II – A crappy sequel to a promising independent slasher flick. The unrated theatrical release was gone too soon.

Legion – Paul Bettany hosts a slumber party at a remote diner besieged by murderous angels.

The Wolf Man (1941) – Lon Chaney Jr. gets all fuzzy in England, I catch up on a movie I should have seen ages ago.

The Wolfman (2010) – Benicio Del Toro gets all Lon Chaney in England. I am unimpressed.

Night of the Creeps – A bunch of alien slugs make college life interesting for a couple of losers. A hard-boiled detective makes his presence felt.

Shutter Island – No ghosts but a plenty of chills. It’s always good to see an upstart director do well.

Dead Snow – What’s worse than zombies? Nazi zombies. If only Ash and Indiana Jones were around.

That’s it for this week, but come on back tomorrow as we begin our second week of terror with some shameless Emmy bait: Sharktopus!
